The brief was to renew the existing painted timber shop front to chime more with the oak clad interior.

Existing gas meters on the front elevation required the entrance to be retained in a central position.  The door and fanlight is of frameless glass constuction whereas the glazing on either side is set within oversized oak frames  to create depth and shadow on the south facing elevation.   the meters are boxed in internally and set with leather uphostered cushions as a pair of window seats.
